WHITECAP 3-STEP SYSTEM CLEANS, BRIGHTENS AND PRESERVES TEAK WOOD
STEP 1 CLEANING
Clean dirty and/or stained wood with Whitecap Premium Teak Cleaner.
Badly Weathered Teak (grey or black) : Apply cleaner directly to dry wood. Spread cleaner with stiff bristle brush. Allow to remain on surface for 2-3 minutes, then scrub in the direction of the wood grain to ensure deep cleaning. Rinse thoroughly with fresh water.
Lightly Weathered Teak: Wet wood with fresh water. Apply cleaner and spread with bristle brush. Scrub lightly to remove dirt and stains. Rinse thoroughly with fresh water.
STEP 2 BRIGHTENING
To bring out the natural wood grain and wood color treat with Whitecap Premium Teak Brightener. Apply with sponge, cloth or brush in the direction of the wood grain. Allow brightener to remain on the wood surface for 5 minutes. Rinse thoroughly with water.
STEP 3 PRESERVING
Whitecap Premium Golden Teak Oil is custom formulated with special natural oils that protect and beautify teak wood. To preserve, seal and protect cleaned teak, apply Whitecap Premium Golden Teak Oil to dry wood with a clean cloth, sponge or brush. Apply the oil in the direction of the wood grain. This will maximize the penetration of oil into the wood. Wait 5 minutes, then wipe off excess oil with a clean dry cloth. Apply a second coat if wood is extremely porous. To maintain the rich luster of teak, apply Whitecap Golden Teak Oil at the first sign of weathering.
